USING RELIABLE COMPUTER SERVICES, LLC'S REPAIR SERVICES OR THIS WEBSITE INDICATES THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF SERVICE & WARRANTY POLICY HEREIN, RELIABLE COMPUTER SERVICES, LLC Service Warranty:
In servicing your computer, Reliable Computer Services, LLC warrants that service will be performed in a professional and timely manner. Reliable Computer Services, LLC offers a 90 day limited computer repair warranty on all computer repairs and upgrades – unless specified below. We will demonstrate that the repair is complete at the time you pick up your computer, laptop or other device.
At Reliable Computer Services, LLC's discretion, if the issue from the original work order reoccurs within 90 days and has not been caused by physical damage, negligence or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party, we will perform the service again at no charge.
When you drop a computer, laptop, or other device or system off for service and/or repair, you will receive a claim ticket which must be presented to claim the item upon completion of service. You will notified by voice call, email and/or text message when the service or repair is complete. Systems, Devices & Equipment delivered to Reliable Computer Services, LLC for service and/or repair must be picked up within 30 days from the date of notification that the service and/or repair has been completed. After 30 days, items which have not been picked up and services paid for may be sold to recover the cost of service / repair.
Hardware Replacement Repair Warranty:
Replacement will be provided free of charge during our 90 day limited warranty or specified warranty periods below ONLY for the specific hardware purchased, installed and/or replaced by Reliable Computer Services, LLC documented on your repair invoice that has been diagnosed as defective, at fault, and has failed under normal operating conditions & use. The warranty covers ONLY the hardware replaced, and installed by us that is documented on your repair invoice. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS
Laptop Internal Display Screen Replacement Warranty:
90 Day Limited Warranty covers screen manufacture hardware defects, screen failure under normal conditions & use. Replacement will be provided free of charge during first 90 days from invoice ONLY if the new screen purchased, installed and replaced by Reliable Computer Services, LLC is diagnosed to be defective, at fault, and has failed under normal working conditions.
NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS.
What Is Covered Under Our Laptop Internal Display Screen Limited Replacement Warranty:
– The new internal display screen & installation of the new internal display screen documented in detail on your repair invoice.
– Installation of the new internal display screen installed and documented in detail on your repair invoice.
– Horizontal lines, distorted or pixelated new internal display screen.
What IS NOT Covered Under Our Laptop Internal Display Screen Limited Replacement Warranty:
– Signs of physical damage, negligence, or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party.
– Cracked screen, shattered screen, hairline crack(s) or liquid damage.
– Damage resulting from attempted customer repairs or other 3rd party.
– Black “blotches” on screen, indicate physical damage – excessive pressure to display screen.
– Software issues unrelated to the repair.
– New damages unrelated to the original repair.
– Other hardware / electronic failures not related to the specific repair documented in detail on your repair invoice.
Laptop DC Power Jack Repair Limited Warranty:
90 Day Limited Warranty from invoice date covers the dc jack purchased, installed by Reliable Computer Services, LLC for defects, dc jack failure under normal use & operating conditions. The laptops dc power jack is a very fragile part not designed for any lateral / angular pressure or accidental abuse. Rest assured, any required soldering of the laptops new replacement dc power jack will last a lifetime under normal operating use.
What IS NOT Covered Under Our Laptop DC Power Jack Repair Limited Warranty:
– Signs of physical damage, negligence, or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party to dc jack, and or casing.
– Laptop has been opened up by customer or other 3rd party.
– Internal repair warranty seal has been broken or tampered with.
– Prior damages noted on invoice.
– Liquid damage, acts of “mother nature”
– Subsequent software, virus, system configuration alterations that can cause power issues are not covered dc jack repair warranty.
– Subsequent indirect other hardware issues or hardware failures that can also prevent a laptop from functioning properly or power issues are not covered under our dc power jack repair warranty.
Laptop Battery Limited Warranty:
90 Day Limited Warranty from invoice date covers the battery purchased for defects and/or failure under normal use & operating conditions.
What IS NOT Covered Under Our Laptop Battery Limited Warranty:
– Signs of physical damage, negligence, or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party to dc jack, and or casing.
– Misconfiguration and/or circumvention of laptop operating system’s on-battery power management configuration. These settings are intended to extend battery run time and life.
– Liquid damage, acts of “mother nature”
– Subsequent indirect other hardware issues or hardware failures that can also prevent a laptop from functioning properly or power issues are not covered under our dc power jack repair warranty.
Computer Repair Warranty
Reliable Computer Services, LLC offers a 90 day limited computer repair warranty on all computer repairs and upgrades – as stated by and within the limitations of this document.
At Reliable Computer Services, LLC's discretion, if the issue from the original work order reoccurs within 90 days and has not been caused by physical damage, negligence or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party, we will perform the service again at no charge.
What is NOT Covered Under Computer Repair Warranty:
– There are NO warranties that involve personal or 3rd party software issues.
– There are NO warranties that involve subsequent virus – malware – spyware – adware infections.
- We provide what we believe is that best protection against viruses and spyware at the time of service. There is no 100% protection against these type computer threats. Each computer is susceptible to viruses. There are no free or paid Anti-Virus, Anti Spyware program that is “100% bullet proof”. We cannot control your internet surfing habits, downloads, program installs and your email.
– Shipping: If your device has failed under warranty, and customer has relocated, shipping is not covered under warranty.
– Customer is responsible for shipping charges.
– Problems and issues caused by negligence, misuse or physical damage on behalf of the customer or other third party.
- (“Third Party” = Another user, person or company or indirect non related hardware or software issues)
– Additional software, hardware, parts, system upgrades added OR installed to the system by the user.
Additional terms and exclusions:
For the manufacturer’s hardware-component-specific replacement warranty, labor & reinstallation of the warranty replacement component is not included beyond our own 90 day limited warranty on the initial repair of. You are responsible for knowing the manufacturer’s warranty terms (via the manufacturer’s website), registering the product if required by the manufacturer, and return of the component to the manufacturer under their own warranty.
Military Discount: Reliable Computer Services, LLC appreciates our Active Duty Military and Veteran customers service and offer a Military Discount which must be applied at the time of purchase. Please let us know before billing if you qualify.
If our assistance is required after a customer attempted to solve a problem out of their own accord, the repair thereof will not be covered under the warranty.
Warranty is void if our warranty repair seal is ripped or tampered with.
This warranty does not cover any loss of business, profits, or other consequential damage, real or perceived, that may have resulted from any malfunction of the computer system nor does it cover any hardware or software installed by the user.
Damage from flood, lightning strikes, earthquake, any other acts of God, mishandling, dropping, or infestation is not covered by this warranty.
The limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from damage caused by failure to provide a suitable installation or operating environment for the product and/or accessories; damage caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids or immersion in liquids; servicing not authorized by Reliable Computer Services, LLC, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, natural disasters such as flood, fire, earthquake or lightening, problems with electrical power such as power surges and problems caused by use of parts, components, services or software not supplied by Reliable Computer Services, LLC.
Warranty coverage will not apply in the event the serial number, unit number or rating label has been removed, altered or defaced.
This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from failure to back up your data or other files, nor does it cover damage caused by programs, data, viruses or other files. Reliable Computer Services, LLC is not responsible for any loss of your data and recommends that the consumer maintains a back-up system at all times to rebuild or reconstruct lost or altered files, data or programs.
Reliable Computer Services, LLC makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to services provided by Internet Service Providers. This includes their ability to provide services, their ability to work with our systems, interruption of service, or their ability to sustain such services over extended periods of time. Reliable Computer Services, LLC is not affiliated and has no agency relationship with providers of such services and is not responsible for their actions or inactions.
Reliable Computer Services, LLC makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to Internet retail products or services provided by other companies, or accessibility via its website. Although your computer system may include programs, software or access to certain providers, Reliable Computer Services, LLC makes no guarantee of access to providers, programs, software or websites.
This limited warranty does not cover any items in the following categories: software; sound cards, joysticks, printers, scanners, speakers, cameras, (Collectively “Accessories”); other external peripherals; Accessories or parts added to a Reliable Computer Services, LLC computer system. These components may have a warranty from their respective manufacturers.
Reliable Computer Services, LLC reserves the right to determine whether alterations have been made, or damages caused, that would serve to void the terms of this warranty.
We strive to make each computer very reliable and take great effort in servicing, building and fine tuning every system. We take precautions to prevent static damage to any component and are very careful installing/removing vital components.
Due to our warranty coverage and reputation, we do not want any other shop, the actual customer or their friends or associates to open/install/uninstall any internal component. This is a reasonable request since Reliable Computer Services, LLC is backing up our computer skills, computer service and workmanship.
